I downloaded the beta version, it did not find my address book, and would not install, the "wab", so I installed the new and improved beta version. It seemed interesting, but as most Microsoft products go, no support and their spin on how I should view the world. eventually, I will use it, but when I have more control of features, and organization. It did uninstal easily, with no problem..

Windows Live Mail is great at sending photos but just as bad at receiving them as Outlook Express. The last two or three versions of Internet Explorer have had the ability to automatically resize photos to a viewable size with the option to enlarge them back to original size at the click of a button. Live Mail beta just displays the photo in actual (sometimes gigantic) size unless the file attachment is opened in a separate program. It would be great if everyone knew how to resize photos before sending but that is not the case.
